"Vltra Oddity" is a collection of the work created by Hamburg, Germany based visual artist Moritz Green.
The art of Moritz Green, also known as 'Golden Green', transports the viewer into a fantastic universe full of painted and printed constellations on paper, canvas, and walls. An abstract mélange of hard-edge, yet often soft and seemingly floating forms in a memorable palette of colors. The influence of the typographic and visual vocabulary of the graffiti scene on Green's imagery is obvious. But a closer look reveals subtle references to figurative elements, objects, and architectural fragments. The artist's diverse sources of inspiration are expressed through visual allusion, as shown in his first self-initiated publication: "Vltra Oddity" presents a complementary juxtaposition of the artwork and photographic associations.
The inner pages of this 60-page hand-bound A4 magazine were digitally printed and for the cover we used our proof press to create 250 unique magazines. All magazines are numbered by the artist and the first 75 are signed.
